How does buyer protection work?
1.All purchases are handled through the Escrow System of the marketplace. Once you submit your purchase, the money will be held in Dark Road Market market Escrow System until you acknowledge satisfactory receipt of the goods. When you receive your item and everything is all right, the vendor will receive payment.
2. If the received good are not satisfactory, you can choose to dispute the transaction and a moderator will look into it. Please dispute only if you have a good reason; changing your mind is not considered an acceptable reason.
3. Please report the Dark Road market Support if the vendor asks for money outside of marketplace, and do not send coins. If you send coins outside our Escrow system, it is entirely at your own risk.

An escrow is a financial arrangement where a third party holds and regulates payment of the funds required for two parties involved in a given transaction. How does Escrow Work?
Dark Road escrow reduces the risk of fraud by acting as a trusted third-party that collects, holds and only disburses funds when both Buyers and Sellers are satisfied.
- Buyer and Seller agree to terms – Either the Buyer or Seller begins a transaction. , all parties agree to the terms of the transaction.
- Buyer pays Dark Road escrow – The Buyer submits a payment by bitcoin to our secure Escrow Account, Dark Road escrow verifies the payment, the Seller is notified that funds have been secured ‘In Escrow’.
- Seller ships merchandise to Buyer – Upon payment verification, the Seller is authorised to send the merchandise and submit tracking information. Dark Road escrow verifies that the Buyer receives the merchandise.
- Buyer accepts merchandise – The Buyer has a set number of days to inspect the merchandise and the option to accept or reject it. The Buyer accepts the merchandise
- Dark Road escrow pays the Seller – Dark Road escrow releases funds to the Seller from the Escrow Account.
Transaction is complete – safely and securely!

When you receive your item and everything is all right, the vendor will receive payment.
